FAQ
What is Peace Patent?
Peace Patent helps people and organisations pledge, run peace projects online, and publish outcomes others can reuse. Peace Lab is the workspace. The Peace Ledger is the public register. Projects can publish Proof of Peace reports and Blueprints.
What is the Peace Ledger?
A public register of pledgers who opted in, with contribution summaries and links to published work.
What is Peace Lab?
The project workspace where you create or join a peace project, collect suggestions, record actions, and track indicators and evidence.
Do I need to attend meetings?
No. Peace Lab is designed to run asynchronously online. Joiners contribute through suggestions and voting; the project owner decides what to implement and posts updates.
What is Proof of Peace?
A clear, explainable report generated from a project’s indicators, actions, and evidence plan. Organisations can pay for Verified Proof of Peace for higher-trust review.
What are Peace Blueprints?
Approved replication guides generated from strong projects. They capture what was done, what to track, and what others can copy.
How do payments work?
Donations and paid tiers are processed through Stripe. You’ll receive receipts from Stripe, and we use payments to fund platform operations and verification work.
Who can publish a project?
Anyone who is signed in can create a project in Peace Lab. Public listings are reviewed for integrity, privacy, and readiness before being published.
Can I update or withdraw my pledge?
Yes. You can request changes or removal via the contact form. If needed, you can also use the consent withdrawal tool in the Privacy Policy.
